| Conversations with Stones was an analogue/digital conversation between the artists, centered around the sonic and visual properties of song stones – acoustically tuned rocks. The piece was literally a trans-modal dialogue between the artists as explored through physical, acoustic, and digital media. The use of an iPad in this work as an instrument parallel to the stones has given rise to a subsequent work currently in development – Conversations with Phones – a six-person, iPhone performance. |
